SEND

SEND information about our school.

At St Joseph’s Catholic School, we believe that each student should be given equal opportunity to achieve their full spiritual, academic and social potential by recognising their individuality and providing a rich and varied learning experience for all.

This means that our pupils are entitled to a broad and balanced curriculum which takes into account the needs of all pupils. The curriculum offered aims to give all students a sense of achievement and build their confidence and self – esteem. All students are encouraged to participate in the social and academic life of the school and all learning and social experiences are accessible to all.

Our policy and SEND report support every element of our mission statement and aims to outline how we achieve this.

Our Special Educational needs and disability Co-ordinator (SENDCO) is Miss V Graham who can be contacted via the school office.

Most of our school policies can be found on the website or available on request from the school office, please visit our policies page for a list.
